Welcome 2 New Team Members!!

Posted: August 13, 2016 in Uncategorized

It has been long overdue as Tammy Hirtle and Ronda Veinot have been with the team since 2015 but because the team has not been officially out and planning investigations the opportunity never arose to introduce these 2 lovely ladies. So that being said WELCOME Tammy and Ronda to the  CAPS Team.  We are thrilled to have you and look forward to investigating with you both and sharing whatever experiences happen along the way.  Here’s hoping for a fun and exciting year ahead and I know you both will be a great asset to the CAPS Team.  You can check out their bios as well as the rest of the CAPS Team’s  under the CAPS TEAM header.

Back at it!

Well it has been awhile for CAPS but things are starting to pick back up again which the team is very excited about!! We have had 2 investigations so far this summer and still going through evidence for both.  Even though we did not have anything major happen while we were there, we did have a few things that we will have to look at more closely and see if we can debunk the happenings before concluding it was a paranormal occurrence.  CAPS has also had some other exciting things happen but those details will have to wait to be shared later on as there is some clearance that will be needed first and well we don’t want to jinx anything either.  Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page as that is where a lot of our info will be posted. 🙂  You can look us up under CAPS(Chester Area Paranormal Society). We have a  Facebook Page as well as a Facebook Group. In the meantime here are a few pics from one of our investigations where Harold and Shawn were getting some of  the audio and visual gear set up before starting to investigate.

Walk the Paranormal Tour

Posted: October 20, 2013 in Uncategorized

Walk the Paranormal Tour last night was a huge success.  CAPS was extremely pleased with the turnout.  We not only sold out but we had to exceed our limit to accommodate others who were very interested in attending.  For our first event we felt things went very well but have also thought of other ways to improve upcoming tours for 2014.  We have lots of ideas in place and we are very excited to start planning.  This event also started us to think of other creative ways to expand the groups expertise and we are looking forward to seeing where it takes us.  We would like to send out a huge thank you to Friends of Oak Island Society for collaborating with us and allowing us to be a part of the tour.   We look forward to collaborating more in the future.

After the tour was finished CAPS stayed and did a bit of a follow up investigation.  We had some equipment fail but other than that nothing huge stood out for us.  Toward the end of the evening I felt a strong need to leave the island can’t explain it but was just very uneasy.  Today will consist of going through the audio and seeing if anything stood out.  Oak Island is an amazing place and CAPS feels very honored to be the first paranormal team to investigate the island as well as being  able to be a part of the first night tour on Oak Island as well.

Spring Investigations!

Posted: June 26, 2013 in Uncategorized

CAPS has been keeping busy with a few investigations.

May 18th the whole CAPS team returned to Oak Island to do another investigation.  It was a very quiet and extremely still night.  While we were investigating we didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary.  However, when we went through evidence review a few things stood out.  CAPS has a short video put together by our tech guy Shawn Hardy and that will be put on the site very soon. I will post a description once we have it ready to post. 🙂

On May 26th 3 of the CAPS team members went on an investigation in the area where one of our team members had an experience when they were a teenager.  At the time we had a few odd things happen but nothing to validate those experiences when we went through the evidence.

On May 31st we started part 1 of our investigation of the Butterbox Babies.  Four of the CAPS members took part in this investigation. We didn’t experience anything that evening and nothing turned up during our evidence review, however we plan to return to the same site as well as follow up with another location that we have been given. Stay tuned.

July is quite busy for all of us within the group so as of right now we have nothing planned as far as investigations go but that could always change.

As the summer continues we will keep everyone posted on any upcoming investigations!

We have a few things in the works for the fall and CAPS is hoping to be able to collaborate with another non profit organization for a  few exciting events.  We will post the details as soon as things have been confirmed.

Stay tuned and check back often to see what the CAPS Team has been up to.
